IceHotel

The Ice Hotel is a seventeen year-old tradition in the village of JukkasjÀrvi, Sweden. Carved from the frozen Torne River, the ice is shaved, stacked, cut, molded in to beautiful suites by architects and designers. The water on the Torne flows slowly and freezes slowly which makes for naturally clear ice. The hotel features an Absolute Vodka bar, a gourmet restaurant, and will cost you between $350 and $600 a night. Click on this link to explore the galleries form the past 2 years. Some of the rooms and art is incredible.
