Tom Chudleigh Tree Spheres

Tom Chudleigh out of British Columbia, Canada set out to make boats, but ended up making these crazy Ewok style tree spheres. The Spheres hang on three ropes to three separate trees (3 old trees make what druids used to call a "sacred grove"), and they're constructed out of 2 layers of laminated wood with a fiberglass surface coating. Just imagine your reaction to suddenly coming across a "colony" of hundreds of these things in the trees at night in some dark forest... Tom Chudleigh Tree Spheres --(via Josh Spear)
